Two men held up a convenience store at gunpoint Tuesday morning, Norwalk police say.
It happened at Corner Store Variety on Westport Avenue shortly at about 10:30 a.m.
Police say two suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks.
One pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money, police say.
Detectives say no one was hurt.
The owner of another business in the same shopping plaza says his company was slated to upgrade the corner store's security system and install surveillance cameras.
"No one thinks it's going to happen to them," says Anthony Taliercio, who owns The Help Desk. "But the truth of the matter is -- in this area -- it can happen to anybody."
