Some people in Norwalk say they woke up to a leaking water tank near their homes.
Residents on Michael Street say they called 911 after a water tank next to their house started gushing water.
They described how the winter weather conditions affected the situation.
"We opened our back door and what we noticed was this water coming down, our stairs were frozen and that's when we decided to call 911 and let them know what's going on," says Guadalupa Crisostomo of Norwalk.
Crews from South Norwalk Electric and Water have turned off the valves to the tower.
They say customers won't be affected since there is a back up to the system.
