The Blind Rhino, located in South Norwalk, will head to the 20th annual National Buffalo Wing Festival Labor Day Weekend.
According to their website, The Blind Rhino has won over 18 awards for their wings, including 6 trophies at the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York, in 2019 and 2021.
The annual national festival features restaurants from across the country, wing eating competitions, and even a wing bobbing competition where participants bob around in a pool of blue cheese dressing in search of chicken wings.
Organizers say aside from competitive eating, the festival also hosts a mullet competition.
Some claim the iconic American cuisine known as the Buffalo chicken wing was first prepared at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York in 1964.
