Norwalk officials gave the public a look at the design for a new shopping mall planned along I-95 today.
The proposed development will be built on West Avenue and will be anchored by Nordstrom and Bloomingdales department stores.
Mayor Harry Rilling says the mall will attract people to the area and help boost other businesses and restaurants in the city.
Development is still in the planning phase and several approvals are still needed. However, if everything goes as planned it is expected to open by October 2018.
