Norwalk School Superintendent Dr. Sal Corda says he's leaving to take a teaching position at a state university.
Dr. Corda, who has run Norwalk public schools since April 2001, submitted his resignation Friday. The district required Corda to give 90 days notice, so his resignation will become effective Sept. 15.
Dr. Corda says he will be taking a job as a professor at Southern Connecticut State University.
