Tuesday was a big day for students in Norwalk.

A graduation ceremony was held for Norwalk High School and P-Tech Norwalk students at the Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport.

The district's superintendent says the day is about celebrating students, their families and teachers who helped make this moment possible.

Dr. Alexandra Estrella also told the graduates that despite life's ups and downs, it's important to never give up.

"Every expert was once a beginner. Every leader was unsure of the next move. Every person you admire had a chapter they would rewrite. Pages of uncertainty, failure, revision and growth. The blank page is not something to fear," she says.

Brien McMahon will hold its graduation on Wednesday night at the school.
