"This is the best feeling in the world."
That's how Bridgeport Probate Judge Paul Ganim described awarding $85,000 in grants to 30 local families in his courtroom Saturday.
The Kinship Care Grants help loved ones who take on the responsibility of raising children within their extended families.
"Bridgeport has great families who take care of each other in times of need, and they're giving it everything they've got," Ganim said.
