The Norwalk teen acquitted of murder charges in March packed up and left town with his father Friday because they say gang members were threatening the teen?s life.
A jury decided Amos Brown Jr. acted in self defense when he fatally stabbed 17-year old Tykwan Hunt at a party in January 2008. However, since Brown was freed, his father says he?s come under threat from those who want revenge.
Amos Brown Sr. says he?s given up his livelihood to stay home and protect his son. He also tells News 12 Connecticut that their home was recently shot at. Police say witnesses heard shots, but they didn't find any shell casings or suspects.
