Two popular Norwalk beaches remain close Saturday due to bacteria, officials say.
Calf Pasture and Shady beaches have been closed since Thursday afternoon due to elevated bacteria levels, according to Connecticut's beach advisory.
The City of Norwalk's website listed both beaches as places where swimming is not allowed due to high bacteria count.
It's not clear when officials will re-test the beaches.
All other beaches in Norwalk remain open.
The beaches are also the only two that are closed in the state as of Saturday.
