Members of Norwalk's disabled community say they're concerned it may soon cost more to get around on public transportation. The Norwalk Transit District says it's dealing with a $3 million deficit

Members of Norwalk's disabled community say they're concerned it may soon cost more to get around on public transportation.
The Norwalk Transit District says it's dealing with a $3 million deficit because of cuts in state aid, and the rising cost of public transportation. 
They say they're looking to increase fares, to fill the gap.
Bus rides for seniors and those with disabilities could go from 75 cents to 85 cents.
Norwalk resident Elizabeth Greenwood is blind. She says the door-to-door service she uses could increase by more than a dollar.
Transit officials are expected to make a final decision about the proposed changes next month.
