Norwalk's police chief to retire

Police Chief Harry Rilling announced today that after 41 years as an officer in Norwalk, tomorrow will be his last day on the job. Mayor Richard A. Moccia called Rilling's time as chief "remarkable"

Norwalk's police chief to retire
Police Chief Harry Rilling announced today that after 41 years as an officer in Norwalk, tomorrow will be his last day on the job.
Mayor Richard A. Moccia called Rilling's time as chief "remarkable" and said the city is going to miss him.
Rilling says a private company contacted him about an opportunity he just couldn't pass up.
Deputy Chief Tom Kulhawik will now serve as acting chief.
