A New York man was sentenced Thursday by a federal judge to 30 years in prison for his involvement in a robbery and murder at a Stamford jewelry store in 2020.
Prosecutors say Paul Prosano, also known as Tony Pro, and two others stole at least $36,000 from Marco Jewelers. The owner, Mark Vuono, was
killed during the robbery.
They say Prosano drove the getaway car.
Another defendant was already sentenced to 40 years in prison, and the other is still awaiting his fate.
