Bridgeport authorities say a police officer is recovering after being hurt during a chase this weekend.
Police say the incident started on Route 8 Saturday night, after a driver refused to stop their car.
They say the suspect got off the highway and led officers down Fairfield Avenue to Scofield Avenue.
Officials say the chase ended in an accident and the suspect was arrested.
