Greenwich First Selectman Fred Camillo says dozens of homes flooded across town due to Ida, with the Byram section of town seeing a historic 8 inches of rain in nine hours.
He says 46 people had to evacuate from the Regal Care facility due to flooding. They were relocated to another place and two were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.

All schools were closed Thursday and some had minor flooding. Camillo says he hopes they will reopen Friday.
