Fairfield firefighters say no one was seriously hurt after high winds led to a tree hitting a car Friday.
It happened Friday evening on the Merritt Parkway southbound between Exits 46 and 44.
Fire officials say a pine tree on the south side of the road snapped at its base and struck the motor vehicle, which then rolled over.
The driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries and were hospitalized.
