A missing boater and his boat was found Friday morning after they went missing near Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge in New Haven.
The Coast Guard says it received information of a disoriented boater around 2 a.m. on Long Island Sound.
Officials sent up helicopters and found the stranded 20-foot boat beached at Stratford Point Lighthouse.
The Coast Guard says the boater became disoriented due to heavy fog in the middle of the night.
His boat is a work boat used to put booms in water to protect from oil spillage when tankers fuel.
Nobody was hurt.
