Fire officials say there are multiple injuries following a three-car accident on Route 8 in Harwinton.

It happened Monday just after 6:00 p.m. under the Route 118 overpass.

According to officials, one person had to be cut out of the car and was flown to a hospital in a helicopter.

Officials say another person was thrown from their car and taken to a hospital with what officials say are life-threatening injuries.
