Officials: No school at West Elementary School in New Canaan today following fire
Officials say school is closed Tuesday so they clean the area and eliminate the smell of smoke.

School officials say there is no school at West Elementary School in New Canaan after a fire broke out Monday night.
Fire officials say the fire started at 10 p.m. Monday in the art room, but firefighters were able to knock it down before it spread.
They say it was started by wood supplies that were near the kiln.
No injuries were reported
