Elected officials say they're much more optimistic about getting funding for the city of Bridgeport under the upcoming Biden administration.
They say with so many urgent priorities, from COVID-19 to education to health care and housing, President-elect Joe Biden is going to have a long list of needs to address relating directly to Bridgeport.
Officials say infrastructure needs will be near the top of their list.
