A couple rounds of rain and embedded thunderstorms will move through the region Friday and Saturday.
It won't be raining constantly, but there will be moments of heavy rain.
The worst of the rain will fall late Friday and overnight into Saturday.
Saturday morning will feature some of that rain, but clearing is in the forecast for the afternoon. However, the clearing increases risk of more rain and thunderstorms developing later in the day.
Stay weather aware, as some of those storms could bring stronger winds.
The rain that falls could total 1 to 1 1/2 inches.
The winds will turn more southerly and this will increase the temperature, as well as the humidity.
Friday's temperatures will range from the lower 70s along the shoreline to the mid- and even upper 70s inland.
Drier weather returns for Sunday and sticks around through next week.
Prepare for warmer temperatures with highs in the 80s for next week.
