One man is dead following a motorcycle accident in Waterbury.
It happened Thursday night at exit 36 on Route 8.
James Laird lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the median.
Lanes were closed for a short time and authorities continue to investigate the area.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
