The Westport Fire Department responded to home Thursday after a turkey fryer caught fire.
Several trucks responded Thursday afternoon to the home in Westport.
According to officials, there was heavy black smoke coming from the backyard.
Officials say the fryer was not near the home, and the fire was put out pretty quickly.
