A fireman in Orange is being credited with preventing a possible explosion after finding a grenade at a tag sale.
Fire officials say the off-duty fireman saw the grenade at the tag sale in a home in Woodbridge over the weekend and bought it.
State police were called in and the bomb squad detonated the device.
The grenade appears to date back to World War II.
