Over 200 nurses rallied at City Hall on Tuesday to demand that hospitals invest in safe staffing and commit to keeping workers and patients safe.

The New York State Nurses Association warns that the Trump administration’s impending healthcare cuts could take away billions of dollars from the state’s funding.

Nurses, whose contract expires at the end of 2025, urged lawmakers to support them in their demand.
