Overnight showers to bring cooler, fall-like temperatures Tuesday

As the skies clear, drier air will push in giving us that refreshing fall feel with temperatures in the 70s and low humidity. It will be a bit breezy as well.

NOW: Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Scott Sincoff says a few showers are expected to come through western Connecticut this evening, bringing some isolated showers and downpours to some of the area. The good news is, the skies will clear Tuesday morning.
NEW: As the skies clear, drier air will push in giving us that refreshing fall feel with temperatures in the 70s and low humidity. It will be a bit breezy as well. This will be the case for the rest of the midweek.
NEXT: Our next rain chance doesn't push in until early Friday morning and will last through the first half of the weekend. Temperatures look to remain below average as we wrap up the month of August.
TONIGHT: Isolated showers, clearing after midnight. Lows in the 60s.
TUESDAY: Turning sunny, cool, and breezy. Highs nearing 80. Lows in the 50s.
WEDNESDAY. Sunny, mild, and pleasant. Highs in the 70s.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy sky. Showers possible overnight. Highs in the 70s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a shower chance. Highs in the 70s.
