A tribute was held over the weekend in Trumbull to honor the life of Charlie Capalbo.
Capalbo died last week after several bouts with cancer.
A hockey stick tap was part of the tribute to Capalbo Saturday night at the Parker Project's Benefit Concert.
All proceeds will go to the Steven A. Merrihew Performing Arts Scholarship and will be given to a graduating senior of Trumbull High School.
Some of the money this year also went to two local pediatric cancer charities.
Capalbo's cousin Harrison performed a moving dance number that he dedicated to Charlie. Harrison's dance studio, Rockwell Dance Center, was also one of the sponsors of the benefit.
