WHAT'S NEW: Relatively quiet weather the next couple of days - minimal rain chance with these showers rotating around this large area of lower pressure up to our north and east. Sun and clouds generally through the next couple of days. Temperatures are seasonable - meaning we are right on track.
WHAT'S NEXT: Slight warm up mid-to late-week with highs in the middle and upper 60s. Dry stretch of weather until Friday. Looking at another storm to kick off the weekend with rain. Counting the light (trace of rain) we received Labor Day weekend, we've had 7 weekends in a row with rain chances and the next one will make 8. This is for southwest Connecticut. The rest of the tri-state area is counting the next one as 7 - so sorry for any discrepancies. Cooling down next weekend with rain. Could be windy with a coastal low developing offshore. More details to come with position and timing.
