WHAT'S NEW: Slight risk of a few passing showers Tuesday afternoon. With the airmass being so dry, most of us may stay dry with a mostly cloudy sky. Tuesday looks more partly sunny. Highs reaching the lower-to middle-60s.

WHAT'S NEXT: Another storm system developing for the weekend with a risk of rain Saturday into Sunday. Timing on this might change as we go through the week. Slight warmup through the middle of the week, with even colder temperatures by the weekend. Not getting out of the 50s.

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says it will be partly sunny and cool Tuesday with a slight chance of a passing shower in the afternoon.
