News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Julian Seawright says a touch of autumn weather trend will continue this week, bringing lower than normal temperatures in the 70s and lower humidity. Temperatures will remain in the 70s during the day, and in the 50s at night through Friday. Into the weekend, we are expecting to warm back up with some humidity returning.

Rain is not expected in the next several days for Long Island. However, there is a very low opportunity for an isolated sprinkle or shower just before the evening commute. Otherwise, high pressure will continue to promote sunshine and dry conditions throughout the work week.
