Parts of western Connecticut are feeling the effects of Jose this morning after wind gusts are causing downed power lines.
Peaceable Street in Redding has reopened after police say the area had been blocked off since about 3 p.m. in the afternoon due to downed utility lines.
According to police, Eversource was already on scene and residents do have power at this point.
Officials say no one was injured as a result of any live wires and no other parts of town have been affected by the storm.
