Thousands of seafood lovers will descend onto Milford this weekend for the town’s annual Oyster Festival.
The event kicks off Friday night at Fowler Field from 6 p.m.-10 p.m., and the main event runs from all day Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
“Really strong community event that has just built more and more of a community feel over the years and people just wrap their arms around it,” festival president Jay Pinto says. “We want them to have a good time and it’s just grown every year.”
A total of 30,000 local oysters harvested in Milford waters will be on the menu, and there will be three national musical acts performing.
