A library was honored Tuesday with the 2018 Connecticut Treasures Award from the American Institute of Architects.
Fairfield's First Selectman Michael Tetreau says the Pequot Library is a great resource for the community and is happy it's getting the recognition it deserves.
The Romanesque Revival style building opened to the public back in 1894 and is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
