A photography exhibit currently on display at the state capitol highlights the completion of a major project at the Weir Farm National Historic Site in Wilton.
For the exhibit called Weir Farm Restored, photographer Xiomaro took pictures of the Weir farmhouse while it was empty before restoration started.
Xiomaro then went back and retook the same shots after the restoration was completed.
He says the finished project is remarkable, and adds that photographing empty rooms was a unique challenge.
The Weir Farm Restored exhibit is at the capitol through next week. Xiomaro says he hopes it inspires people to visit Weir Farm.
