Forecast:
Fair weather anchored over the Northeast will continue to dominate the weather scene through the weekend.
Rain chances are very low. The winds from the east will keep the heat at bay, but the summery mugginess will stick around.
Saturday will be comfortable, with daytime highs in the mid-80's.
On Sunday, the winds become a little more south. This will drag back that Carolina air, and temperatures will warm back up to the upper 80's, possibly lower 90's.
Tropics:
Erin has now developed into a hurricane.
It's likely the storm will continue to intensify on its westward track through the Atlantic.
By early next week, a hard right turn will steer the storm up the East Coast.
While we do think Erin poses no direct threat to any East Coast towns or cities, the indirect impacts will be felt at the coast.
The ocean is going to be very angry, and conditions could deteriorate as early as Tuesday night.
