There has been a unanimous decision out of Stamford to save the Smith House nursing home.
The Board of Representatives, Board of Finance, and Planning Board all voted in favor of the lease and purchase option that will allow the Smith House to continue to operate.
The city signed an agreement with Center Management Group that would allow the struggling facility to stay open last week.
That agreement needed all three boards' approval.
