The plan to build Norwalk's first mosque is back on after a federal lawsuit was filed alleging religious discrimination.

Norwalk officials rejected the proposal saying they had concerns that the building was too large and would cause traffic problems.

However, the Zoning Commission has since voted to approve the Islamic center, pending a settlement of that lawsuit.
