The purple Knights don special shirts to practice and wear ribbons on their hats and bags. They're doing it for teammate Kaite Burawski who hasn't been able to play this season while undergoing chemotherapy for a very rare form of ovarian cancer.

The purple Knights don special shirts to practice and wear ribbons on their hats and bags. They're doing it for teammate Kaite Burawski who hasn't been able to play this season while undergoing chemotherapy for a very rare form of ovarian cancer.
Despite not having its best player, Bridgeport has had its fair share of players step up.
Recently, Freshman Mya Roberts was named the Division II National Player of the Week.
Freshman pitcher Vise Zarate leads the league in wins. Head
coach Dawn Stearns recently became the programs all-time wins leader.
UB has one more series before the CACC playoffs this weekend.
