Bridgeport police say they arrested a man on felony drug charges after seizing a large quantity of drugs, along with thousands of dollars in cash from his home.
Police raided the home of 50-year-old Richard Dreckett on Ogden Street and Central Avenue at 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials say they seized $4,000 in cash, 30 grams of cocaine, over a pound of marijuana and a wide array of illegally obtained prescription drugs.
They arrested Dreckett and charged him with felony drug possession and trafficking.
Investigators say they worked with state and federal officers in executing their search warrant at the house.
Dreckett's bond was set at $150,000. He is due back in court next month.
