One person was hospitalized when a car crashed through the glass wall of a building Friday morning in Stamford.

The incident happened near the corner of Pacific and Dock streets just before 8 a.m.

Police say the driver of the truck lost control and crashed into the building after trying to avoid another vehicle that had turned unexpectedly.

There is no word on the condition of the injured driver.
