Stratford police are asking for the public's help in finding the person responsible for a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Police say it happened near the intersection of Bruce and Hollister avenues around 9 p.m. Friday.
There's no word yet on a motive, but police believe it is possible the suspect knew the victim.
"We don't believe this was a random incident, so we don't believe anybody else is in danger. So it's not just a random shooting," says Capt. Frank Eannotti, of the Stratford Police Department.
Police say the victim, who was shot in the arm, is in stable condition and is expected to be OK.
They say the victim is in his early 20s. Authorities believe the shooter is also in his 20s.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
