Fairfield police warn residents of recent break-ins
3h agoStamford police say one person is dead following a motorcycle crash early this morning.
It happened just after midnight on Long Ridge Road near Brook Lane.
Police say the 2014 BMW motorcycle left the road colliding with a fence and then a tree.
The rider, who police say is a 44-year-old Stamford resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Identification of the victim is being withheld until family can be notified.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to call Stamford police at (203) 977-4712.
