A crash involving a city bus and two cars sent 12 people to the hospital Monday.
It happened around 4:15 p.m. near the corner of Maple and Kossuth streets.
Fire officials say they launched what they call their mass casualty protocols when they realized how many people were hurt.
They say that people in both cars were hurt, as well as people on the bus.
Officials say that injuries range from head and back injuries to cuts and bruises.
