Police say three people were arrested Sunday evening over a parking dispute on Willow Street.

They say the altercation resulted in two people waving machetes.

Witnesses told police the dispute between the neighbors began because a vehicle was blocking a driveway.

During the dispute, Clive Samuels, of Stratford, started waving what was said to be a machete, police said.

According to police, Christine Medley, of New Haven, hit an individual with a broom before also appearing to grab a machete.

Police say Medley and Samuels were charged with carrying a dangerous weapon and breach of peace. A third individual was also charged with breach of peace.
