Police: 4-car crash on I-95 in Stamford leaves 4-year-old hospitalized with serious injuries

A 4-year-old is being treated for serious injuries at Yale New Haven Hospital after a multi-car collision occurred Saturday night on I-95 in Stamford.
Police say the crash began at around 7:30 p.m. when a driver trying to change lanes struck the vehicle containing the young child, caused it to roll over and ultimately trigger a chain reaction crash involving four cars.
Authorities say seven people, including a 3-month-old baby, suffered lesser injuries.
Authorities urge anyone who witnesses the crash to call state police.
