Police: 4 people killed in car crashes on Connecticut roadways over Memorial Day weekend

There were 273 car accidents that lead to two serious injuries and four fatalities in Greenwich and Middlebury.

The Connecticut State Police says it had more than 5,880 calls for service on roadways over Memorial Day weekend including three fatalities.
There were 273 car accidents that lead to two serious injuries and four fatalities in Greenwich and Middlebury.
The accident in Middlebury was a wrong-way crash.
While 36 people were arrested for driving under the influence, state police issued 518 citations for speeding, 208 seatbelt citations, and 576 citations relating to hazardous moving violations like unsafe lane changes or following too closely.
