Bridgeport police say four people were shot on Saturday night at the intersection of Stratford Avenue and Logan Street. Two people died and two others were injured.

Officers said they responded to reports of multiple people shot around 11:15 p.m. They found three people with gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to the hospital. A fourth gunshot victim arrived at the hospital shortly after.

Police reported two victims died early Sunday morning at the hospital. One victim was a 30-year-old Bridgeport man, the other was a 32-year-old Bridgeport man. Their names have not been released.

The other two people wounded are in stable condition. Police identified them as a 34-year-old Bridgeport woman and a 25-year-old Bridgeport man.

News 12 Connecticut’s Angelica Toruno spoke with a neighbor who said her mother heard the gunshots. They only recently moved into the neighborhood and shootings such as this are prompting them to move out.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Keith Hanson at 203-581-5243 or the Bridgeport Police Tips Line at 203-576-TIPS.
