Orange police say a woman accused of stealing from the local Kohl's store is facing charges.
They say 32-year-old Eliana Perez, of New Haven, allegedly took nearly $500 worth of clothes and shoes without paying last week.
When police attempted to take her into custody at the scene, they say she fled into a nearby car and drove away.
Police say she left behind a bag with her ID and address, so they went to her home and arrested her.
They say they later learned she was also wanted by police in Madison and Branford.
