A man from Ansonia has been arrested and charged with targeting victims looking to buy and sell things online.
Police say Shahiem Donald answered a Facebook Marketplace ad from a person selling an iPhone then attacked and robbed the victim when the two met.
They say Donald is part of a group of suspects who have targeted multiple victims throughout Fairfield County posing as both the buyer and seller.
Police remind anyone buying or selling things online to only meet in public places, including police departments.
