Police ask for public's help finding missing diamond ring

Police are searching a missing diamond engagement ring that was left at a New Milford Cumberland Farms on Danbury Road Sunday.

Police are searching a missing diamond engagement ring that was left at a New Milford Cumberland Farms on Danbury Road Sunday. 
Police say the ring was left behind on a bathroom counter at the gas station between 12 and 1 p.m. and it is described as a lab-grown pear shaped diamond, certified by IGI, serial number LG12098907, G color, VS1 clarity, no fluorescence, .82 carats.
The diamond has the serial number etched onto it.
If found, please bring the ring to New Milford Police Department so it can be returned to its owner.
