The FBI, along with state and Hamden police are investigating an explosion and a body found nearby.
Officials say they were called to the area of Wintergreen Avenue, near the New Haven city line just after 11 a.m. Saturday for a reported explosion.
While searching the area, police say they discovered a man's body in the woods just off the roadway in West Rock State Park.
Detectives are investigating whether the explosion is connected to the man's death.
Police say they are looking for two possible suspects last seen in the area, who may be in a gold Nissan Altima with a Florida registration plate.
